Plan of Salvation

God’s Plan of Salvation For You

Becoming a Christian is the greatest thing that can happen to a person in this life here on earth. Every Christian will testify of the love, peace, and joy that salvation in Christ Jesus has brought to them. Would you like to have this true happiness too? The good news is that you can and this is how:
1)…BELIEVE    Believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. The Bible tells us, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son,That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, But have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Also the Bible tells us,“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” (John 1:12).
2)…Repent      To repent means to have a change of mind that produces a change in direction.  Let me ask you, are you sick of sin and sick of the sinful life you have been living? Repentence is turning away from this lifestyle and turning to Jesus for help. The Bible tells us “I tell you, Nay; but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish”. (Luke 13:3).
3)…Faith    The Bible gives us the definition of faith. God’s Word tells us in Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”. The Bible also tells us, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that deligently seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6). No one today has seen the Lord Jesus Christ or His death upon Calvary’s Cross or seen Him in His resurrected body, but every Christian today believes these things concerning Jesus as well as everything written in God’s Word about Him. To be saved, we must put our faith in Jesus as Saviour and Him alone.
CALL     If you are willing to repent and believe this gospel message by faith, call upon Him in prayer and He will save you. The Bible tells us: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”, (Romans 10:9), also “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
Will you receive Jesus today? Don’t wait to another time. God’s Word tells us, “…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation”, (2 Cor. 6:2)
A simple prayer of faith would be something like this: Dear God, I believe in my heart that Jesus is your only begotten Son and that He is the Saviour of the world. I now receive Him as my Lord and Saviour and ask you to forgive me of all my sins and save me, in Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
If you have prayed this prayer by faith and mean it with all of your heart, you are now a child of God and your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Here are some things that will help you grow in the Lord and will help you along this earthly life’s journey:
       1. Pray daily
       2. Read the Bible (the Authorized King James Version)
       3. Join a local fundamental church and follow in believers baptism
       4. Go tell others about Jesus

My prayer is that God will bless you in all that you do and that you will grow in the Lord. Please e-mail me and let me know that you have received Jesus as your personal Saviour so that I can rejoice with you.
