Statement of Faith
We believe that God is one God, manifesting Himself in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.( John 10:30; 1 John 5:7; 2 Cor. 13:14)
We believe that Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect sinless life, died freely on Calvary’s Cross to pay the sin debt for all who would believe, and rose from the dead on the third day and is now sitting at the right hand of God. (John 1:12,14; Matt. 1:18-23; Rom. 4:25; John 20:26-29; Col. 3:1; 1 Tim. 2:5-6).
We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person, equal with God the Father and God the Son, who baptizes all believers into the body of Christ, indwells them and seals them unto the day of redemption. (John 14:16-18, 26; 1 Cor. 12:13; Eph 1:13, 4:5).
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God preserved in the Authorized King James Version. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20-21).
We believe salvation comes through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe salvation comes by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and it is for all who will repent and believe the gospel message. (John 3:16-17; Acts 16;30-31; Rom. 10:9-13; Luke 13:3; 1 Tim 2:4).
TOTAL FORGIVENESS OF SIN
We believe the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses every believer of his/her sins past, present, and future. We believe that he/she is a new creature, positionally in Christ Jesus. (Eph. 1:7; Col. 1:14; 1 John 1:9; 1 John 2:12; Eph 2:6; 2 Cor. 5:17; Gal. 6:15).
We believe that eternal life is given to every born again child of God. (John 3:15-16; John 10:28; John 6:47)
THE CHURCH AND IT’S OFFICERS
We believe that the church is made up of all born again believers, and it is through the church that the work of the Lord is to be carried out. We believe the ordinances of the church are baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We also believe the qualifications for church officers are clearly stated in the “present tense form” in 1 Tim. 3, thus removing all dark sinful past sins that one has been forgiven for. It is what one is now not what one was or has done in the past. (Eph. 1:22-23; Eph 5: 25-27; 1 Cor. 12:12-14; 1 Cor. 11:23-26; Matt. 28:19; 1 Tim. 3).
We believe that heaven is the place where all the redeemed go after this life on earth. (John 14:1-3; 2 Cor. 5: 1-8; Rev. 21,22).
We believe that hell is a place that all unbelievers go after this life on earth and will remain there in torment
until they appear before God in the Great White Throne Judgment. After this judgment at the Great White Throne, they will be cast into the lake of fire where they will suffer for eternity. (Luke 16:19-31; Matt. 25:41-46; Jude 6,7; Rev. 20: 11-15).
THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH
We believe that one day the Lord Jesus Christ will return to rapture His saints out of this earth and meet Him in the air. (1 Thess. 4:16-17, Rev.4:1).
THE SECOND COMING OF JESUS CHRIST AND HIS MILLENNIAL REIGN
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will literally return to this earth after the seven year tribulation period to set up His millennial kingdom. At this time joy and peace will characterize the earth. (Rev. 19:11-16; Matt. 25:31-46; Acts 1:10-11; Jude 10,11; Rev. 20:1-3; Isa. 9:6-7; Zech. 8:20-23; Isa. 2:1-4).
We believe that God established an everlasting covenant with Abraham, and we believe the blood line of this covenant runs through his grandson Jacob. We believe that God’s chosen people are the Jews and the land of Canaan belongs to the nation of Israel. (Gen. 17:1-8; Gen. 12:1-3; 2 Sam. 7:8-19; Gen. 15:18-21).
